Environmentalists recognize the great importance of Senjski Rudnik


The project “Town of Miners” was presented to the visitors of 10th International Fair of Environment and Natural Resources "ECOFAIR 2013" and the 9th International Energy Fair that was held at the Belgrade Fair from October 9th to 12th. Both events involved the most important companies and institutions in Serbia in these areas and promoted the partecipants as regional energy, ecology  and environmental leaders in South Eastern Europe.

„Town of Miners“ continues to impress industrial heritage fans


After the audience in Brussels, the project  “Town of Miners” was presented to the visitors of 13th Council of Europe Meeting of the Workshops for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention, that was held on Cetinje (Montenegro) from October 2nd - 3rd.  Participants agreed that this project is unique as it is the first of its kind in the Western Balkans that deals with the rehabilitation of industrial heritage.

Senjski Rudnik project presented at Europe Day – EU Open Doors festival in Brussels

The "Senjski Rudnik - Regional Center of Cultural Heritage" project, was presented within the EU Open Doors festival, on the 4th of May in Brussels. International experts are informed of the goal of the project and transforming Senjski Rudnik into a regional heritage center and an attractive touristic attraction.

Sensjki Rudnik Art Colony


A group of 4 to 6 artists from different areas – sculptures, installations, multimedia, literal arts, drawing and painting, graphic arts, music – will be invited to Senjski Rudnik starting from 3 June 2013.

Branding Senjski Rudnik

A one day event will take place on Monday, 10 June in Senjski Rudnik. During this event, ideas and proposals for the future overall appearance of Senjski Rudnik as industrial heritage site and as tourist destination shall be developed.

Training of future museum staff and selection

During 28 Februray to 6 March 2013 a workshop in Senjski Rudnik was organised to train and select the future museum staff.
